This fine art counted cross-stitch pattern entitled Madame Ramon Subercaseaux designed from a painting by John Singer Sargent shows a poised woman in an elaborate dress seated at a piano, surrounded by fresh floral arrangements. Her black-and-white dress with red embellishments is just as dramatic as the entire scene as she prepares to grace her audience with music.  As someone who appreciates quiet indoor moments like myself, I love how the faint perfume of fresh-cut flowers fills the room in my mind with fragrance as a soft afternoon light streams through the window. The crisp contrast between her dark bodice and pale ruffles is very striking! Every graceful line catches the quiet elegance of peak salon culture.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
