This religious counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Morning of the Resurrection by Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones shows the blessed event of Mary Magdalen and two angels gazing at the presence of Jesus who has just resurrected from death. There is a look of astonishment on Mary's face as I am sure she is experiencing a combination of fright and joy to be able to see Jesus again, and she cannot wait to tell the others. The colors are soft and muted, but emanate a certain beauty about it. No blended colors are used in our patterns. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect. Only full cross stitches are used in our designs.
