This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Conversation in a Park designed from a painting by Thomas Gainsborough shows a man and a woman sitting in a park engaged in conversation. Of note is that even though they are sitting on the same bench, the man cannot get closer to the woman because her dress alone takes up most of the space on the bench, which is a good thing if modesty is of concern. The trees are feathery with splashes of autumn's colors of bronze, tan, ecru, brown, and sage green, and ancient ruins can be seen in the background. It's a lovely setting for good conversation! Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
