This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Honeymoon designed from a painting by Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema shows a young couple celebrating their marriage while on their honeymoon by looking into a mirror together as man and wife for the first time.  The bride is wearing a white gown with dark trim and a salmon-colored wrap while the groom is wearing a dark burgundy tunic with a tan wrap.  They look happy and their hope is to spend an eternity together in wedded bliss!  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
