This landscape counted cross stitch pattern entitled, Isle of Skye, Scotland, shows swirls of green turf in circular fashion framed by mountainous terrain and the sun rising in the center of it all. The sky shows wispy clouds characterized by a chill in the air, but may soon be chased away by the sun’s warmth and early glow. This location is affectionately called the Fairy’s Glen due to its unusual formation. Contrary to belief, there are no magical powers there, and the formation was not made by fairies, but it was actually fashioned by visitors. It has a sort of whimsical appearance, and it certainly is a place people from all around the world love to visit.
