This vintage counted cross stitch pattern entitled Hope in a World of Despair shows two women in the ocean stranded on a rock at the foot of the cross when God himself appears in the sky providing hope and the miracle of rescue to these women. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
