This vintage counted cross stitch pattern entitled Medieval Woman shows a woman posing in attire that is characteristic of medieval fashion. Of note is the high lacy white collar on a rust-colored velvet gown and hat trimmed in burgundy. The green and gold floral background with white eyelet flowers give a lift to the dark tones of her gown and add a sense of mystery and drama to the pattern. In any case, this would be a wonderful pattern to stitch and place in your study or library. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
