This women in counted cross stitch pattern entitled Innocence in Bloom designed by Tracey Marvel Kramer shows a young woman in the in-between stages of being a girl and approaching womanhood, and along with that comes feelings of wanting to belong, longing for a relationship with the opposite sex in the future, and other happy and healthy relationships with her peers.  In this scene, she wants to be noticed by a boy she has a crush on and has decided to wear clothes that are more mature, yet she still has feelings and emotions of a child at times. These are the awkward years, but soon she will step into the big shoes we women have filled to become a woman.  The flowers symbolize innocence and purity.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
