This animal counted cross stitch pattern entitled Horse on the Loose shows a horse who has broken out of his stall in the barn and has run away to kick up his hoofs and enjoy himself in the meadow. It is morning and surely the farmer who owns him will have caught on by now that he has run away. The situation is familiar to both the farmer and the horse. As usual, the farmer will soon show up in his pickup truck with a bucket of oats or an apple, will rub his muzzle and speak kindly to him, and take him back to his home where he belongs. But for the half hour he was free, the horse feels it was well worth it! The horse is dark brown with black and white markings. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
