This fine art counted cross-stitch pattern entitled Berberka designed from a painting by Henrieta Santel shows a gentle, expressive portrait of a young woman of color wearing a traditional white headscarf adorned with a single golden earring. You can almost catch the sweet scent of desert dust drifting through the dry morning air while soft sunlight hits the rich white fabric.   Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
