This fine art counted cross-stitch pattern entitled, Breton Woman Seated Under a Large Tree by Ferdinand du Puigaudeau, shows a woman seated beneath an umbrella-like tree, undoubtedly seeking its shade to protect her from the golden sun-filled sky.  The sky is truly beautiful!  Although it is dominated by shades of yellow and a trace of blue, orange is used to offset the more dominant golden colors.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
