This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Homeless designed from a painting by Thomas Benjamin Kennington shows a heartbreaking scene with a mother and her son who are on the streets because they are homeless.  The son has collapsed from lack of nurturing food and is mother is trying to comfort him in the best way she knows how.  To be alone and destitute in this world is a hollow and depressing feeling and reminds those of us who have a home (a permanent place to stay) should be grateful, count our blessings, and should lend a hand to help others who are in need. This scene tugs at the heartstrings and is certainly worthy of stitching.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
