This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled In Deep Mid Winter designed from a painting by Joseph Farquharson shows a winter scene deep in the forest with a path guided by the glorious sunlight that leads down to a small creek. A small fawn is seen traveling down the path perhaps to drink from the creek ahead. The tall trees aren't able to block out the sun, and the light looms in the background like a blanket of gold creating a rosy glow throughout the forest. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
