This fine art counted cross stitch pattern, entitled Le Bal Masque, designed from a painting by Albert Lynch, depicts the elegance of a Persian ballroom, where two people attending the ball are wearing masks much like those at a masquerade ball. The colors are bright, fanciful, and entertaining. We are given a glimpse of the festivities from the curtain being opened towards the right of the scene, where guests appear to be enjoying themselves. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
