This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Cup of Milk designed from a painting by William Adolphe Bouguereau shows a charming little girl seated on the ground comfortably leaning against some brush as she dines on what she believes is a luxury, a cup of milk.  Judging from her expression, there isn't anything else in the world she would rather partake of, nor daresay give up willingly.  Her large imploring eyes say it all.  She is a child of the peasant class and must walk the ground without the luxury of shoes, but her cup of milk satisfies her for the moment.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
