This winter cross-stitch pattern entitled Heavy Snowfall in the Forest, shows the tall, statuesque trees covered in blankets of drifting snow. How silent our footsteps would be if we were walking down this lonely road in a winter wonderland. Our footsteps would be silent, and the only sound we would hear would be the sound of us breathing. The shadows of the branches, along with a black frame, give the feeling of a scene that is both very dramatic yet beautiful. Sometimes simplicity is the key that brings elegance to a scene such as this. This pattern only requires a limited number of colors, but oh how beautiful it will look when finally stitched and framed! This is one of my favorites and is on my list to stitch! Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
