This fine art counted cross-stitch pattern entitled Lady Agnew of Lochnaw designed from a painting by John Singer Sargent shows an elegant society woman seated comfortably in an armchair wearing a delicate white gown tied with a soft lilac sash against a shimmering backdrop. Her pose is languid in nature, and you can almost catch the soft scent of lavender and silk lingering in the air while gentlest daylight fills the studio space. Notice how the pale silk catches the ambient light, which is simply stunning!  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
