This landscape counted cross stitch pattern entitled Checkerboard Garden by Tracey Marvel Kramer shows a small yet charming intimate garden exquisitely designed to bring out the whimsical touch in all of us, from the glowing colors of the flowers of blue, violet, white and pink to the sweet checkerboard tiles and grass taking us back into a childhood wonderland that we know and love. The small iron gate in the distance beckons us forward to see what further delights await our eyes. It’s a secret place where I could see myself sitting on the steps pondering life, daydreaming and falling in love with this space. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
