This lighthouse counted cross stitch pattern entitled Point Cabrillo Lighthouse shows a small lighthouse and building in one located in California.  It boasts one of the most complete lighthouse stations.  Even though the lighthouse itself is very short, it stands on a high cliff which makes up for its height and serves its purpose.  This added height brings the light beam 32 feet above ground and with the height of the cliff added, it brings the tower to 81 feet above sea level.  The lighthouse has a large Fresnel lens which flashes a beam that can be seen well beyond the horizon.  This may be a small lighthouse, but it's a powerhouse on the ocean and worthy of stitching!  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used in our patterns. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
