This mythology counted cross-stitch pattern entitled Aurora Triamphans designed from a painting by Evelyn De Morgan shows the Roman goddess of the dawn emerging at daybreak, attended by three red-winged angels sounding trumpets while the personified figure of Night discards her dark robes. In creating this piece, De Morgan wanted to emphasize the spiritual victory of light over darkness and the hopeful transition from the shadows of the night to the clarity of a new day. The colors used show a radiant display of warm golds and vibrant rosy pinks in the angels' plumage, contrasted by the deep, receding purples of the vanishing night and the soft, pearlescent skin tones of the central figures. This pattern is for lovers of Symbolism and Pre-Raphaelite art who appreciate bold allegories and the intricate, rhythmic composition of celestial themes. The scene captures the first light, where the triumphant call of the trumpets signals a world awakening in beauty.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
