This Thanksgiving counted cross stitch pattern entitled A Beautiful Harvest shows a long table covered in a white tablecloth loaded with bountiful harvest treasures, and acorns and bright-colored leaves provide just the right decorative accent. At the center of the table is a large wicker basket laden with nature’s gifts (pumpkins, gourds, and corn) and larger pumpkins surround the large basket. A large vase of sunflowers and sprigs of fall leaf branches are also on the table, along with a tall white candle in a wooden candle holder. The glow from the candle’s flame has created an inviting ambience of seasonal bliss as the colors are brightest towards the flame and then fan out over the table. These are some of our favorite things that remind us of autumn, and they are meant to be enjoyed. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
