This fine art counted cross-stitch pattern entitled The Wounded Seagull designed from a painting by Jules Adolphe Breton shows a young peasant woman in a headscarf tenderly cradling an injured bird along a windy ocean shore. You can almost catch the salty scent of sea spray drifting on the cool coastal breeze while soft daylight illuminates her dark coat.  Her gentle care of the seagull has not gone unnoticed, and we can tell that she loves animals and would go out of her way to restore it to its former health.  Our patterns use only full cross stitches. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
