This vintage counted cross stitch pattern entitled A Little Milksop designed from a painting by Harriet M. Bennett shows children, probably siblings, feeding their kitten some milk in a saucer.  You can tell by the way they are crouching over the kitten that they really care for it and want to make sure the kitten is fed and taken care of.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
