This vintage counted cross-stitch pattern entitled A Wanderer designed from a painting by Lizzie Mack shows two children attempting to feed a cold and hungry animal they found wandering on their property. Just from the door being ajar, it appears to be a cold winter's day, so it is good that the children found the poor animal. Our patterns use only full cross stitches. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
