This vintage counted cross stitch pattern entitled Feeding the Birds designed from a painting by William Taylor shows a young child standing in the doorway throwing crumbs to the birds.  The design is simple and sweet and makes the birds tweet!  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
