This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Mr. and Mrs. Andrews designed from a painting by Thomas Gainsborough shows a couple who opted to have the artist paint their outdoor portrait in celebration of their marriage and their families' fortune. In this scene, the wife is seated on a bench under a tree while her husband prepares to go off into the woods with his hunting dog. The gray clouds hang heavy in the sky, and the fields are a dusty gold with fall approaching. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
