This fine art counted cross-stitch pattern entitled Fishing designed from a painting by Henryk Siemiradzki shows two young people, a boy and an older girl, out at a stream engaging in the idle leisure of fishing, patiently dangling a fishing line into the tranquil water below. The fresh scent of damp river moss can be detected in the air.  There is lots of greenery and vegetation surrounding their fishing hole, and it appears to be a bright and sunny day.  It looks like they haven't caught anything so far, but they are enjoying just being out in the open, away from the heat, in this shady little grotto.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
