This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Jesus in Road to Emmaus designed from a painting by Carl Heinrich Bloch shows a sitting portrait of Jesus as he is preparing for the walk on Emmaus. In this scene his body has been transfigured, his clothing is white and a golden halo is shown around his head. The symbolism present in this portrait is that Jesus meets us right where we are in life. There is no pretense, no stipulations, and he is easily accessible. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
