This fine art counted cross-stitch pattern entitled The Port of France, Marseille designed from a painting by Joseph Vernet shows majestic sailing ships entering the historic harbor of Marseille, framed by coastal fortresses and a vast blue sky. You can almost catch the fresh scent of sea salt and pine resin drifting on a cool Mediterranean breeze as warm sunlight illuminates the stone towers along the shore. For a passionate stitcher like myself, the vibrant reflection of the sky across the tranquil harbor is simply breathtaking! This is a grand coastal view that would electrify a wall of distinction for all you maritime lovers.  Just the many shades of azure are enough to create a sensation of sublime colors and are certainly worth the stitch.  Our patterns use only full cross stitches. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
